People, don't trust the posts that mention "excellent customer service". Excellent customer service does not include correcting a transaction that was obtained by outright deception if not fraud. Most likely, these are redundant posts by their company in an effort to appear sincere. They are anything but that.
Mr. Lawyer Guy claims that it's your fault because you "forgot" or was "too stupid" to understand that unscrupulous companies cheat their way into transactions by hiding them in lengthy policy statements.
Do not accept from anyone the explanation that it is your fault because you didn't read the fine print.
Let me ask you, if they weren't being unethical and devious, then why did you not get some type of E-Mail notification from them of a pending transaction? Isn't that what happens to your typical monthly automatic payments?
It's because they know there is a large percentage of naïve and trusting people who won't catch the transactions. That's how they make their money.
Do not dignify this outrageous practice by attempting to go through their "customer service". Call your bank, report the fraud, because that is what it is even if they did have some size 6 font describing it in the 20th paragraph. After you hang up with your bank immediately contact your state attorney general office and report them. Fight this practice! Do not accept it as legitimate.
