DEFINITELY FRAUD!!
Pending charges of $7.00 WPY that I didn't do (I don't use WPY nor do I contribute to political parties/issues) then immediately a charge for $100 at Reebok online.
Reported both to my financial institutions.
Coincidentally, after the cancellation of the card, I was mysteriously subscribed to multiple government email subscriptions.
This number appeared alongside two $5.00 WePay charges to my bank account that I did not authorize or make. I do not have a WePay account and have never used WePay to make a payment or donation. A web-search of the number reveals it has been reported as being associated with other fraudulent transactions in November 2019.
Received fraudulent charges on Mastercard debit card. It showed as WPY in memory of. There were two amounts $805 and $575 on February 11. My bank alerted me and was able to cancel before they got their STOLEN money. Nowadays one must be very diligent to check online credit and debit card activity every day.
This number is fraud! They used my credit card 3 times, online, on the same night. 2 small amounts (1$, 2$) and one of 882$ on www.zara.com. I received a text message from Master Card to confirm if this was my purchase or fraud. I replied ''fraud''. I was texted again asking to call them for investigation. I was not charged any amount at all. Before I left on vacation, I took the time to revise my credit amount down to 500$ and the 882$ had been refused! I really wonder how they got to use my card number, maybe while I was online? I guess I'll never know...
This is a legit business. They are a crowd sourcing collector that people use for "go fund me" needs. If there is a problem, call them: 866-819-1294
I had a charge for $23 under WPY I did not authorize. Luckily the fraud dept called me to go over some activity. This was charged and apparently someone tried to make an online transaction at Best Buy for $500 which the bank declined. I think they try a small amount first to see if the transaction goes through before they try a higher amount.
I donated $500 to the Loulie Jo Brown go fund me account. My credit card bill shows another $500 to to go fund me. I did not authorize the second amount.
