What is it?

It is a charge from purchasing a book or ebook from LexisNexis.com book store.

This is something LexisNexis REALLY should warn people about. I was sitting at home and the charge came through as a notice from our bank that it was made TODAY but I bought the book YESTERDAY. To me, REI is Recreational Equipment Inc and that made the charge look like a fraud. My bank has canceled the card and is treating this as a fraudulent transaction.

Yesterday there was a charge of $0 and today for around $61. That pattern is very common with fraudulent transactions so it's too late now. I would guess they will go ahead and ship the book and then come after me for the money. This time I'll know what to expect.

LexisNexis is STUPID!

I WASN'T SURE WHAT THIS CHARGE WAS AS WELL AND CONTACTED MY CARD AND AS WE INVESTIGATED IT WAS FOR THE PURCHASE OF THE CALIFORNIA BOARD OF PSYCHOLOGY LAWS AND REGULATIONS BOOK THAT I HAD ORDERED. SO IT TURNED OUT TO ACTUALLY BE A VERIFIABLE PURCHASE.

Can you help? What is this charge?
