I had a charge with this very text. The phone number is the one given on Scientific American's web site. I called and they verified that this was due to an automatic renewal of my subscription (they do it a couple months early because of address label printing); but it is NOT a bogus or fraudulent charge. I needed to check because I had just had this card canceled because of bogus charges; but this one is OK.
