Merch from the Tool website showed up as MUSICTODAY on my statement.

If you order anything from the Prince website (including pre-orders), it will show up as this... MUSICTODAY...

DAI*MUSICTODAY, CA charge of $116.10. Have no idea what they are and I have not used the card that was charged. Lucky my fraud alert caught it and declined it.

Bought merch from the Beatles store and was charged from this address despite having the following on my confirmation email: Your payment information: The charge will appear on your credit card statement as MT*The Beatles Store

Bought clothing from the Lil Nas X store. It said it would appear on my statement as "Lil Nas X" but it instead said "Music Today"

Thank you for this website! I was just about to contact my credit union and was prepared to go through the hassle of replacing my debit card (again!). But... Yup! I'd ordered merch from the Lil Nas X store. Checked there for the receipt and the total was an exact match. Thanks again!

Saw Musictoday as a purchase, freaked out until I remembered I ordered a bunch of Gogol Bordello band merch. All good, don’t drink and shop friends!

Mine was for stuff I ordered from House of Blues website, which is through LiveNation.

Charge showed up as MusicToday, 877-687-4277, VA. Thought it was a scam, figured out it was for things ordered from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. They really should use their name on credit purchases -- I almost phoned it in as fraud.

Bought merch from the Lil Nax X store back in mid September, wasn't charged until today, November 4. My receipt said it would appear on my statement as "MT*Lil Nas X Store" but came up as this instead.

Oh good, im not the only one. Suspected scam, then remembered I placed an order on Tool's website a few weeks ago. Apparently a lot of bands use this site.

In case anyone was wondering, this charge on my statement came up as MusicToday 877-687-4277 Really confusing until I found this site and realised I’d bought a The Pretty Reckless band tee. Looks like a lot of band merch is sold from the same place, damn they could be a little more specific in their description 😳

Got 2 musictoday charge months after i paid for (ONE item) something. i just reported it as fraud but tbh, to leave withdrawing that money til now is going to only cause issues. Who knows i have that amount anymore. months change things and it wasnt small to me to have 105$ taken out twice. Honestly has put me off the item and purchase altogether as Fraud and theft experiences are sickly and panic inducing.

I can understand everyone posting about band merchandise and tickets, but I was confused about what this charge was doing on my account. But I then found the receipt in my email that matched the amount. It was for a t-shirt I ordered from The Orlando Sentinel! So, mystery solved and yes, I guess they do orders for more than bands!

I was confused by this charge at first. I remembered that I ordered some merchandise from a musician that was for the same cost, and there is nothing else listed in my account for the merch purch.
