MICHAELS #9490 800-642-4235 TX

This is a fake location number and fraudulent charges. Always submitted with "card not present"

I also got hacked and Christmas trees were ordered and before they were shipped, I contacted Michael's and they could not stop them from being delivered. UPS would only intercept if Michael's called them and they claimed they attempted, but UPS said they did not. My bank opened a fraud claim, but the purchases went through. NEVER have your card information saved on your Michael's account! When I logged on after received thank you for your order emails, they had more items in my cart about to purchase. This has been a nightmare for me and my statement also showed Michaels #9490 TX. It does not exist, so I am not sure why Michael's hasn't done anything to avoid this in the future.

I also had 4 charges to Michaels #9490. Fraud started with $3.20 and then 70 and then $101.00 my credit card would not put the $101.00 go through. Had to cancel card, of course, but THEN I received a BOX addressed to my home, and was delivered to my house from MICHAELS CREEPY. I am NOT opening the box. I am afraid what might be inside the box.... SCAREY

A charge was made on my credit card on 10/14/2022 for $151.46. I did not authorize this

Charge came through this morning around 1:30 am. For $194 at Michaels #9490. Thankfully I didn’t have enough funds, just called my bank and reported this.

Charge came through with this store number on it for a Christmas Tree to be mailed to a Diana Juanita Musick; 7660 Gordon Loop, Brooksville, Fl. 34601. I called Michael's security department and logged a case # with them, filed a police report with our local sherrif's department, and file a dispute with the bank. Awaiting a new debit card. Store 9490 is nonexistent according to everything I have researched.

Amex called me today that I had suspicious charges from Michael’s - three totaling just over $400! All fraud! Same, store #4940. Pain in the ass to have to cancel and get a new card. Hope they catch these people asap!

I saw a pending charge for $0.28 on my credit card, which I did not make. This forum was very helpful in identifying that this was indeed a fraudulent charge. Thanks all!

They have tired several times to Chare me from 9490 it’s sad it’s scammers out here now I have to order a new car at Christmas

They tried 3 times to charge me from 9490 Michaels store, first time 300$ then two times 74$. Thankfully card was frozen

I just found a fraudulent charge for $2.53 from Michaels #9490. I found this site - thank you to whoever started this thread. I now need to leave work early (brand new job) to go and pick up a new debit card. GRRRRR I wish these people would find legit uses for their talents. I just don't understand people.

Like many others, I got a mysterious pending charge from "Michaels #9490" on my bank account for $2.93. I called Michaels to report it and disputed it with my bank who removed the charge. 3 days later, another pending charge for a small amount, $2.97. Thanks to this thread, I was able to freeze my debit card until I get a new one.

I had three charges that were fraudulent, all occurring in the last two weeks. One for $5.40 and another for $80.24. There was another charge for publiclands.com for $57. I contacted my CC company and reported all of them.

Saw a pending charge of $19:38 to my debit card for Michael’s #9490 I knew I did not go to Michael’s an I have their credit card had to cancel my debit card at 2:30 am this morning these ppl need to get a life

I just found a fraudulent charge for $.28 from Michaels #9490 on my chase card also. Had to cancel the card and get a new one
