FOR YOUR INFORMATION ONLY: A couple of years back, ATT iTunes contacted me stating that my "space on the cloud" was exhausted. If I wanted more, I'd have to pay $0.99 per month. I elected to purchase additional space to store pictures, correspondence, etc. Ever since then, I see $0.99 appear on a statement. For those of you who are being charged small amounts, perhaps you are actually purchasing "Storage Space on the Cloud!"
