I just logged into my credit card provider's website, and noticed a pending charge of $299 with description of GCI*MSCN-FRND-WB. I called my credit card provider, and they cancelled the charge, and are issuing a new card. Since the charge was still pending, it made things easier. Thanks to this website for helping me identify the fraudulent charge!

I have a charge on my card for $398.99 from a GCI*MSCN-FRND-WB. I never head of this place. I called my card fraud department and it is an online music store. They cancelled my card and sending me a new one. I also have to check back with bank because , they cannot dispute pending charges. smh so basically this overdrew my account because I had other major charges coming out the same week, car insurance, car note , mortgage and regular bills.. then this charge out of no where. smh I just want my $398.99 back from a purchase I never authorized nor been to their store.smh

Be Alert, when you call the phone number show on statement because it will connect to fraudulent phone line. So be careful do not call this phone number 800-776-5173 they might steal your information. Just be careful. The real store for the music's friend was had different phone number when you type in their website.

Thank you to everyone for their help, this happened right in the middle of my Christmas shopping and it terrified the daylights out of me.

This GCI*MSCN-FRND-WB indicates that something was bought from the website Musician's Friend. It is a valid business that sells sound systems, microphones, musical instruments, recorded music and just about every other thing about music.

I ordered an Arriba bag from Musician's friend. I assume that this charge was for that. I apparently forgot to record that charge (as I usually do for charge card charges) and found this line item on my card statement listing of charges.
