This showed up on my Discover card statement as a positive amount (not a charge). I had never seen this before because I had always paid off my Discover card with a manual transaction anytime someone used the card (manual transactions showed up with the description = "INTERNET PAYMENT - THANK YOU"). My assumption is that this is the description Discover uses for a payment on a card that is triggered automatically.
