What is it?

I checked my transaction history and found that I had a charge from "B&N MEMBERSHIP RENEW.COM/Membership NY." I haven't had a membership with Barnes & Noble in several years, and the description link directs to a ransomware site. I called my CC company and they found that I had the same charge for three years in a row. I managed to log onto the (real) B&N website and they don't even have a payment method for me on file. Definitely fraud!

so thought this was fraud.... until I realized that it is actually a yearly charge for Barnes and Noble for their yearly membership. Just going to cancel my membership with them since I no longer need it.
